A friend of mine once said that working for a community foundation was like sitting in the front row of a mezzanine - you not only see what’s happening on the stage, but also get to see what’s happening in the audience. How true! I’m fortunate to learn daily from our grantees, donors and others working to make our community and world a better place.
In that spirit, “Brian’s Musings” is an effort to share some of my thoughts from that front row of the mezzanine. I can’t guarantee that my postings will always be profound and I expect that you might even disagree with me from time to time. But I’m hopeful that this feature will encourage you to think about our community and future and I welcome your comments and feedback.
